Week 26: As big as a Bowling Pin / Cabbage

Ok. It turned out the previous doctor's appointment WASN'T the detailed scan. Lol. Apparently need to make appointment for that and it's done by another doctor. RM300. I will be going for it tomorrow! So the previous appointment was just a normal one.

Yang came with me so he could see baby too. I saw her moving her mouth, like sucking. Her right hand was placed near the head and the left hand was down there. Haha. Everything was okay. The placenta is finally okay. Not blocking the head or something and in ample amount.

Just that doctor said my weight increased more than what is ideal. On that day I weighed 66kg. Doctor say by the end of pregnancy, my ideal weight should be 70kg. Based on my BMI. D: I hope I can keep my number as close as possible to that.

Baby has been moving a lot. Scratching and kicking. Nowadays, whenever she kicks, my whole body can move, sway. Haha. And in the mornings when I am lying on my left, and when baby kick by pattering her feet, left right left right, it tickles me so much that I would jerk. Then she would stop. xD Sometimes I can also feel her fingers clawing. I think I'm not imagining it. It really feels like little fingers. All of these feelings are quite nice to me. So I am enjoying every feeling I can get in this stage of pregnancy and motherhood. When Yang's mum asked me whether I am excited for the baby's arrival, I had to think what to answer. I am excited, but also I don't want it to come so fast so I can enjoy the current stage before moving on to the next one. :) Time will pass very fast.

Oh today I had durian so it is also the second time baby has durian! I think the first time doesn't count because it was during my first few weeks of pregnancy. Baby couldn't taste anything at that time. But today, she could taste. Hehe. Does she like it?

I have been buying baby stuffs the past few weeks. So far I have gotten diapers, towels, handkerchiefs, wet wipes, baby detergent, baby bottle liquid cleaner, waterproof mat, mittens, some baby head bands, ducks, door stopper. Still have many things to buy but I have set my eyes on almost all of them. Just going to get them nearer to the date.

I cut my toe nails finally today too. It was a little tough for me to reach my toes because of the bulk in front of me. I think the next time I need a cut, Yang has to help me. Haha. 

We have been thinking of baby's name. Still hasn't found any. Yang's dad has been helping. Hopefully we can find one that is suitable for our little girl. :)
