Week 34: As big as a Pineapple

These few days I have been cleaning our room's toilet, baby's room and baby's toilet. Baby's room and toilet not yet complete so far. Still lots to be done! I think this impulse to clean is called nesting? Though I think for me it's more like the feeling of me wanting to prepare because I don't want baby to come when everything is not prepared. Normal behaviour right?

Yesterday we went for our Week 34 checkup. So so close! When we were on the way to the clinic, Yang's car got hit at the back on Federal Highway. Funny thing was we were just talking about people who tailgate and could easily cause accident. And then this happened. Another car was not paying attention during the traffic jam and hit the car behind of us. Chain reaction, the car behind hit us. Yang's car absorbed most of the impact because he braked hard so that he didn't hit the car in front. I saw the whole thing from the side mirror. Only managed to call out Yang before our car got hit. Haha. Since I saw it coming, I didn't really get the shock. So baby is okay. Anyway, after all the dramas, we managed to get it settled at the police station at night.

The damage here is not that obvious compared to seeing it IRL. Car boot couldn't be closed back after opening and sensor is faulty.

After the accident, we went to the clinic. Again had to wait longer because doctor had emergency operation. But it wasn't as long as the previous appointment. Got checked and doctor said baby's body and legs are longer in comparison to her head. Haha. Maybe she is like me! Her size is 2 weeks ahead and at 2.8kg currently. My weight has also increased to about 72.5kg average. Need to take care of my diet again. Sigh. But doctor this time said baby size now is most likely of genetic. So I might not be able to control that much. He mentioned that baby most likely will come after 4th September. If she didn't, might need to do induction from 10th September onwards. Hopefully she comes at the right time. Inducing is very painful I heard. Asked the doctor whether she has dropped below a little and he said yes. Doctor also said not to worry about sunny side up position because baby always moves around. As long as her head is below that's good enough for now. Anyway, got my second tetanus injection after.

So..we have not thought of a name for baby yet. For now, she is just Rin Rin. XD
