14th Week - as big as an Orange

It is Rei's one month old birthday! Full Moon!

We did Rei's little Chinese culture ceremony to celebrate her being full moon i.e. one month old! Kong Kong and Pho Pho dangle a gold anklet with bell on her little left foot. Apparently it's to ward off evil spirits. XD The anklet that we have is actually not an anklet. It's more like a necklace so we had to loop around her ankle a few times. Kong Kong then cut a little lock of Rei's hair. We decided not to shave because we don't want her to have no hair for a few weeks and also shaver is quite dangerous for her irregular shaped skull. 

So..that's it! Supposed to have a full moon party for her - invite close relatives and close friends - but the situation of Covid-19 has turned terrible here. There are lots of increased cases everywhere and it seems like this third wave is going to be a bad one as the mutated virus is very contagious and more deadly. Thanks to the politicians who went to Sabah for campaign and brought back the virus to Peninsular. Hope we can tide this through again and conquer it again. Sigh.
